Procrastination.

This was one of the hardest quarters, and one of the easiest finals weeks. Well we aren't in finals week, but I gave my availability notice to the Coffee Cup for that week if that tells you anything. So since my last two papers are due during finals week, and I will possibly be working a bunch, I am trying to do them right now. You can see how well that is going. One is a 10-12 pager about Rigoberta MenxchĂș's life in politics and the other is about Vincente Aleixandre's poems ... this one is shorter but in Spanish... so a huge pain. I already finished my two portfolios for my other classes... so here we are.

All that is a boring smear.

Oh totally! Guess how long I ran the other day!!!! Yep that's right 52 minutes and 40 seconds. The following day I only ran 30...but I was freaking exhausted and sore. This is me bragging.

The summer doesn't look that exciting. Amy and I are exploring the idea of running a Marathon that was originally inspired by a Meghan Debrosse. Well at this point we don't know that we will do Chicago... or anything I guess... but we are looking into it. The problem is that you can't call off at the Coffee Cup in October as it is the busiest month... we'll see.

The book club will be alive this summer. I can't reveal the titles to you...even though most of you don't live here and others already know... but it's just not supposed to happen. Anyway this lady is funding it... or rather a different section of the University... weird but nice.

Ohh yeah, also I got a "Dean of Students Citation." Yeah I didn't know what that was either... but I was invited to this banquet that fell on the same night as the last Navs and the Pizza party... sooo I didn't RSVP. Well then the day after I asked Timothy Hogan (big boss man) what it all meant and his explanation was that you had to be nominated for it. Still no clue right. Well then Tim and Terry Hogan came and presented me with this .....
" For leadership, creativity and dedication to student life by virtue of
creating and managing the Front Room Book Club, this DEAN OF
STUDENTS' CITATION "
That's what they said to me... and they shook my hand. I can't explain it any more. I was embarrassed.

That's all I've got...

I have some questions regarding your running. How long does it take you to run a mile? and 52 non stop?
